Host: Vic Eliason

Guest: Peter LaBarbera

Listen: MP3 | Real Audio | Windows Media

Vic began this edition of Crosstalk by reading a presidential proclamation that praised the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, claiming that their story is the story of our fathers and sons, our mothers and daughters, our friends and neighbors.

This set the tone for the program as Vic then introduced Peter LaBarbera, Founder and President of Americans for Truth.

Numerous points were covered that show the advance of the LGBT community. They included:

–The Every Child Deserves a Family Act (HR 1681) introduced by the House would prohibit discrimination in adoption or foster care placements based upon sexual orientation, gender identification or marital status of the prospective parents. It’s in the House Ways and Means Committee.

–A homosexual couple demands that an Illinois Christian bed and breakfast
business should allow their civil ceremony to be held there.

–Catholic Charities is pulling out of the adoption business because they don’t want to be forced by the State of Illinois to place children into homosexual households.

–Hillary Clinton speaks out against what she calls homophobia and transphobia.
