Day Gardner is President of the National Black Pro-Life Union.

Vic began this edition of Crosstalk with audio cuts featuring North Carolina abortionist Ron Virmani It was on his doorstep recently that pro-life activists confronted him about his abortion exploits. What was his response? He said, “Let me see you adopt one of those ugly, black babies.”

Of the approximately 50 million children killed via abortion since 1973, approximately 15 million have been black children. This isn’t surprising when you consider, as Day noted, “abortion facilities are purposely placed in minority, urban neighborhoods”.

Why aren’t people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton speaking out against this? Gardner points out that Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger went to the community leaders and clergy with her message. She knew that if black parishioners heard this message from a black pastor, they would accept this ideology.

In the case of Jesse Jackson, Day described how he was on the pro-life side until he ran for president. She explained that running for president requires great wealth or access to it. So she feels Jackson sold his soul to the devil and changed his stand regarding the abortion issue.

Also discussed was President Obama’s take on the abortion issue along with the case of 24 year old Tonya Reaves. Tonya was left bleeding for 5 1/2 hours at an abortion clinic yet not one person dialed 9-11. The result was not only death for Tonya’s baby but for her as well.
