--New Jersey utility workers reject help from Alabama utility workers because the
Alabama workers are not union members.
--Connecticut utility workers pelted with eggs after the mayor claimed that the local
power company shortchanged the state’s largest city as it tries to cover hurricane
Sandy.
--New York State asked federal government to pay all the costs of cleanup from
hurricane Sandy.
--E.P.A. administrator Lisa Jackson announced that her agency has approved the
emergency fuel waiver for New Jersey.
--Department of Homeland Security is temporarily waiving some maritime rules to allow
foreign oil tankers from the Gulf of Mexico to enter northeastern ports.
--New Jersey to deploy military trucks to serve as polling places on election day in storm
struck communities.
--I.R.S. officially reported that they are not auditing churches because they don’t have the
authority to take away a church’s tax exempt status.
--The Republican National Committee has asked officials in Ohio and five other states to
fix voting devices.
--3 of the 9 Supreme Court Justices will be turning 80 years of age before the 2016
election.
--Planned Parenthood took in $487.4 million in government health services grants and
reimbursements for the fiscal year ending June 30th of 2010.
--V.P. Joe Biden calls transgender discrimination the civil rights issue of our time.
--Valerie Jarrett says Obama wants to spend more time on the road if re-elected.
--Department Of Interior requiring private oil companies to hire marine mammal and
sea turtle monitors if the companies are granted a lease to drill off shore.
--As of yesterday, the Obama administration has missed their second straight legal
deadline for disclosing its regulatory plans and their economic impact to Congress and
the American people.
-- Iowa joins Texas in warning international election observers of possible criminal
prosecution if they violate state laws and get near polling places on election day.
--Planned Parenthood putting another $835,000 into its efforts to attack Romney’s pro-
life positions.
--Proponents of gay marriage getting nasty in their campaign tactics.
--One Washington state county general election ballot has a spelling error that makes it
appear as though citizens will be voting for president and vice-president of the “Untied
States” rather than of the United States.
--Bill Clinton tells college students to re-elect President Obama because of his college
tuition practices alone.
--Nearly half of 600 Muslim-American citizens polled that planned on voting believe
parodies of Mohammed should be prosecuted criminally in the U.S. and 1 in 8 says
violators should face the death penalty.
--Election expected to hinge on Ohio but problems exist with provisional ballots.
--On November 6th, Massachusetts citizens will face a critical vote to decide the Death
with Dignity Act.
--5 years after Oregon legalized physician assisted suicide it’s been found that nearly
90% of people who ask their doctors for help in killing themselves later changed their
minds.
--A federal judge in Michigan becomes the second in the nation to say he would halt the
enforcement of the Obamacare mandate that employers pay for abortion drugs
regardless of their religious views.
--Hobby Lobby must obey the Health and Human Services mandate that requires
religious companies to pay for drugs that cause women to have abortions.
--Attorney General Eric Holder is allegedly connected to an abortionist who’s been
accused of defrauding Medicaid, killing a woman during a failed abortion, and allowing
another woman’s child to die due to sub-par medical care.
--U.S. birth rate at an all time low in America in 2011.
--Homosexual activists in Brazil joined by coalition of United Nations groups in an effort
to pressure the nation to criminalize homophobia.
--Irvine, California, resident requests that a sign be installed to memorialize fish killed in
traffic crash.
