Numerous F-16 fighter jets and tanks are among the weapons set to be shipped by America to Egypt this month. This news is controversial for a very good reason.

Since 1979, there’s been a peace agreement between Egypt and Israel. Part of that has included military aid from America to each of these nations.

An agreement was made in 2010 between the Mubarak government and the U.S. for the delivery of 20 more F-16 fighter jets and 200 more Abrams tanks. Delivery of these weapons is set to begin later this month.

Since 2010, we’ve seen revolution take place in Egypt which elevated the Muslim Brotherhood on the political stage and has resulted in their leader, Mohamed Morsi, becoming president. Along with his presidency, Egypt has also developed a new constitution based upon Islamic Shariah law.

As Jordan explains, Mohamed Morsi has been quoted showing himself to be no friend of America or Israel. Vic has Jordan lay out the additional details so that you can become informed and involved in this key decision.
