A woman is a special vessel designed by God to bring forth life and to nurture it. So for women, their position in regard to the Bible isn’t about being “equal” but about being special and men are to bring honor to them as the weaker vessel.

How does that play out in regard to the protection of our nation? For example, the U.S. Department of Defense has decided to let women serve on the front lines of combat and possibly include them in any future draft.

Does the desire for equal combat opportunity by some women comport with what the Bible says is God’s desire for them? In other words, is it possible that having women serve in combat is demeaning to the general calling of God for women? Listeners weigh in on this controversial topic on this Monday edition of Crosstalk.
