--Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg says the Texas law that’s at the heart of the
Roe v. Wade decision was the most extreme law in the nation.
--The F.B.I.’s former top expert on Islam announced that President Obama’s pick to
head the Central Intelligence Agency converted to Islam years ago in Saudi Arabia.
--Harry Reid calls for expedited vote regarding Chuck Hagel for Secretary of Defense.
--A.C.L.J. reports that Hagel is anti-Israel.
--North Korea conducts its third nuclear missile test.
--Iceland considering introducing Internet filters to prevent citizens from downloading
pornography.
--No exams on Wiccan and other pagan holidays at the University of Missouri.
--On Valentine’s Day the Illinois Senate approved legislation that if passed by the House
would create same-sex marriage in the state.
--Homeland Security Department wants to buy more than 1.6 billion rounds of
ammunition in the next 4-5 years for law enforcement in training and on duty.
--France’s lower House of Parliament approves a bill to legalize gay marriage and allow
same-sex couples to adopt children.
--U.K. police officers to attend course teaching them to ask transgenders whether they
want to be known as a man or a woman.
--Hundreds or possibly thousands of patients said to have died from lack of care in
British hospitals.
--New Japan finance minister causes controversy with death comment regarding the
elderly.
--Texas bill (SB-303) would allow doctors to impose “do not resuscitate” orders on
patients even if doing so would violate the patient’s express wishes.
--White House not saying where President Obama was, what he did or who he spoke to
between 5:30pm and 11:26pm on September 11th, 2012, while the Benghazi attacks
were taking place
--New Secretary of State John Kerry took a larger detail of security agents on a trip to
Arlington, Virginia, last week than the State Department employed to its compound in
Benghazi, Libya, in the days leading up to last September’s terrorist attack.
--Judicial Watch released U.S.D.A. videos of compulsory cultural sensitivity training
requiring employees to chant in unison, “The Pilgrims were illegal aliens.”
--Since taking office in 2009, food stamp roles under President Obama swell to over 47
million people which exceeds the population of the nation of Spain.
--New York hospital changes procedures so that pro-life medical personnel no longer
have to violate their beliefs when it comes to abortion.
--Pro-abortion Senator Frank Lautenberg from New Jersey will not be seeking reelection
in 2014.
--Parents of a Texas teenager are being sued by their 16 year old daughter who wants to
keep her baby.
