Dr. E. Calvin Beisner is the founder and national spokesman for the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation. He is an interdisciplinary scholar specializing on the application of the Christian worldview, theology and ethics to economics, government, environmental stewardship and public policy. He is a former college and seminary professor and has written 12 books and made contributions to over 30 books. He has testified as an expert witness on the ethics and economics of climate policy before congressional committees and he lectures around the world.

This Crosstalk covers a lot of ground as it looks at the following:

–Is there a connection between climate or alleged climate changes and Islamic terrorism?

–EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy clashes with Senator Jeff Sessions over climate change claims.

–The Obama administration is mulling over dietary regulations for Americans in order to protect the environment. This would include eating foods that have a lower environmental impact such as plant-based foods. This seems to go along with the Hindu/vegetarian beliefs of Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, the former chairman of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

–Astrophysicist Dr. Willie Soon and other authors created a blockbuster climate article that opponents can’t criticize on its substance so they’ve tried to find fault with the authors and funding sources.

Before taking listener phone calls, Jim and Dr. Beisner discussed the Cornwall Alliance’s call to prayer which culminates on March 25. In the meantime, you can go to the Alliance’s website (listed below) and view posted prayers for any issues relating to proper biblical stewardship of the earth as well as for the poor in our world.
