A hostage swap took place recently between the U.S. and Iran. Sanctions against Iran were lifted and nations are looking to help them build new nuclear facilities. This is in spite of the fact that this is a nation that has vowed to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

Joining Jim to discuss the ramifications of this news was David Rubin. David is the former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, and is founder and president of Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund dedicated to healing the trauma of child victims of terrorist attacks and rebuilding the heartland of Israel. He is the author of 4 books including: Sparks from Zion and The Islamic Tsunami: Israel and America in the Age of Obama.

David is against prisoner swaps because he feels it encourages the taking of more hostages. He thinks the release of our hostages should have been demanded long ago as a precondition to the negotiations but it wasn’t. Yes, they’ve been released, as have been some Iranians by the U.S., but something else is being released: 150 billion dollars which David believes won’t go to stacking supermarkets with produce or putting food on the table of citizens. Instead he believes the money will be used for military purposes as well as to export the Islamic revolution.

David described 2 aspects to this revolution. The first involves the tsunami of terrorism and the second involves trying to take over the world demographically. In other words, major funding is being given toward this effort to export Muslims and to finance the sneeking of such individuals, such as illegal aliens, into Europe and into the U.S.

How does David feel Israel will respond to this news and what’s the latest concerning terror attacks in Israel? Who were these individuals that our government released? What are we to make of Russian President Putin’s invitation to Jews in Europe facing anti-semitism to return to Russia? How does David feel about the presidential race in the U.S.? These along with caller questions are answered on this vital edition of Crosstalk.
