This edition of Crosstalk featured excerpts from speeches given March 4th through the 6th at the American/Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) policy conference in Washington, DC. Speakers included Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Ambassador Haley described her early life experiences with ‘bullying’. She compared those experiences to what takes place in the U.N. against the nation of Israel on a month by month basis. Among all the problems facing the Middle East, she described how the U.N. sessions involving those nations always seem to become an Israel bashing session.

She went on to mention America’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, that Israel needs to be treated like any normal country and not a provisional entity, and that realities need to be dealt with in order to further the peace process.

Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech also included America’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, the move of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the nation of Iran and its nuclear ambitions, Mahmoud Abbas and his payments to terrorist families, and the beautiful alliance between Israel and the U.S.
