Mario Diaz is the Policy Director for Legal Issues for Concerned Women for America.
As mentioned last Friday, The Respect for Marriage Act (S.598 in the Senate/Companion House bill H.R. 1116), a bill that if passed, would revoke the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), had its November 2nd vote by the Senate Judiciary Committee postponed until November 10th.
This Crosstalk takes another look at this deceptive legislation and if passed, how it will affect states that already recognize marriage as only between one man and one woman, how it will affect the polygamy challenge that already exists, what you can do to make your voice heard and more.
