Brian Camenker is the Director of MASS RESISTANCE, a pro-family action center in the state of Massachusetts.

Mass Resistance has an updated version of the booklet called, What Same-Sex Marriage has Done to Massachusetts. On this edition of Crosstalk, Brian discussed some of the disturbing fallout due to the acceptance of same-sex marriage in Massachusetts. For example:

–In the Spring of 2005, David Parker was arrested over objections to homosexual curriculum material that was being taught in his son’s Kindergarten class. School officials refused him the option to ‘opt out’ his son nor would they tell him when they would be teaching his child these things. When the case went to court, the judge ruled that because of the gay marriage ruling in Massachusetts, the schools have a right and even an obligation to help children equate same-sex marriage with traditional marriage.

–Hospitals are starting to cater to LGBT health issues. They are having homosexual events, seminars, awards ceremonies and also participating in homosexual parades.

–Domestic Violence—It’s well known that the rates of domestic violence among homosexual couples is much higher than that for heterosexual couples. It’s become such a big problem (due to the dysfunctional nature of homosexuality in general) that the state legislature is having to target considerably more money toward this problem.

–Business and Employment—Many people showed up at Chick-fil-A restaurants recently to show support for President Dan Cathy and his freedom to speak about his opposition to same-sex marriage. When homosexuals decided to respond with a “kiss-in”, a dozen or less showed up at the Chick-fil-A near Boston.

–Massachusetts marriage certificates now say ‘Party A’ and ‘Party B’ rather than husband and wife.

–Churches are being harassed and homosexual activists don’t seem to get arrested for their unruly behavior.

–Politics—Politicians have been caving in on this issue. Conservatives don’t want to talk about this subject and appear as though they want to take away people’s rights.
