Believe it or not, the topic of President Obama’s eligibility has not gone away. In order to get up-to-date on the matter, this Crosstalk featured Dr. Orly Taitz. Dr. Taitz is a well known lawyer in the country who brought to light a number of legal cases pertaining to the eligibility of Barack Obama to be President of the United States. Dr. Taitz is the President of “Defend Our Freedoms Foundation”. She was born and raised in the Communist Soviet Union and knows first hand the bleakness of the totalitarian regime and being deprived of constitutional rights.

At the time of this broadcast, Dr. Taitz had just finished participating in a hearing in Indianapolis, Indiana, regarding a case that is proceeding to trial.

Dr. Taitz noted that the attorney general wanted the judge to go back on her allowance for a special order so that Dr. Taitz, as an out-of-state attorney, could represent Indiana plaintiffs. The judge denied it.

The judge did state for the record that this is a strong case yet she did not see sufficient evidence to grant the preliminary injunction that Dr. Taitz asked for.

Dr. Taitz said that now she will ask for an expedited trial. At that time she will bring her witnesses to present their testimony as today’s proceeding was just a preliminary injunction hearing.

Dr. Taitz tried to subpoena Sheriff Joe Arpaio and she communicated that she was disheartened by the fact that he did not show up for today’s hearing. She believes that had he been in attendance, the judge would have granted Dr. Taitz’s motion for a preliminary injunction.

Vic’s interview with Dr. Taitz also included commentary from two plaintiffs in the case.
