She is the author or editor of some 20 books with titles such as,”The Supremacists: The Tyranny of Judges and How to Stop It” and “No Higher Power: Obama’s War on Religious Freedom”.

Constitutional tipping point or Constitutional crisis? Is this language too strong to describe our current situation?

According to Phyllis, the Constitution says that all legislative power is in the Congress yet President Obama has been trying to legislate with his pen through regulation.

For example, The Dream Act languished in Congress. It never did pass yet in essence we’re seeing aspects of it come to life through executive orders.

The Constitution also says that the prime duty of the President is to take care that the laws be faithfully executed. Instead, President Obama said he wasn’t going to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act and he also told his Attorney General to oppose it in court.

On the issue of the health care law, Phyllis noted one source who claims that President Obama has changed the law 37 times.

In light of these and other examples, does Phyllis believe that President Obama has unilaterally overturned the constitutional framework of the three branches that are the basis of our unique and successful system of self-government? Listen to this Crosstalk to find out her answer and how she feels we need to act in order to solve this dilemma.
