Usama Dakdok is the Founder and Director of The Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He was born in Egypt and raised in a Christian home as the son of a Baptist pastor. He became a Christian at age 11, learned Islam as a required subject in Egyptian schools, and then to further his knowledge, he studied Islamic law in college.

Mariam Ibrahim, a pregnant, 27 year old mother, has been sentenced to death in Sudan on the charge of ‘apostasy’ for marrying a Christian man. This sentence has been handed down despite the fact that she was raised a Christian. The point that seems to be making the charge stick is the fact that her father was Muslim.

Ibrahim has refused to recant her Christian faith, therefore she is being required to have her baby, be immediately subject to 100 lashes for adultery and then face death by hanging.

Usama described how under Islam there is no freedom or human rights. In spite of this he encouraged listeners to watch how this story will be credited to the activity of radical Muslims when it’s not. He also noted that this is Allah’s word and due to technology factors like the Internet, Muslims can no longer hide such behavior.
