--The FBI has expanded its probe of Hillary Clinton's e-mails with agents exploring whether multiple statements violate a federal false statement statute.
--Suspicions are mounting on Capitol Hill that President Obama could try to use an executive action to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center.
--President Obama's executive action preventing the deportation of an estimated 5 million people living in the U.S. legally suffered another setback after a federal appeals court upheld a federal judge's injunction blocking the measure.
--A federal judge has ordered the National Security Agency to stop collecting  telephone records for some of the citizens who sued the government after Edward Snowden had leaked details of the vast sweep of private data.
--President Obama has joined Facebook and in his first post pressed for the nation to abide by his climate change agenda.
--President Obama uses followers to join him in his effort to enact stricter gun laws.
--Senate leaders tentatively planning a vote to repeal large parts of Obamacare and to defund Planned Parenthood the week after members return from their Thanksgiving break.
--Now that President Obama has squashed the Keystone XL pipeline to send a message against so-called dirty energy, the rail industry is projected to take up the slack.
--Russia is countering NATO's U.S. led missile defense program by deploying new strike weapons capable of piercing the U.S. missile shield.
--The U.S. Navy confirmed it had followed Saturday night's launch of a Trident 2 missile from the U.S.S. Kentucky, a ballistic submarine in the Pacific Ocean, with a second launch Monday afternoon. 
--Defense Secretary Ashton Carter talks tough at a defense forum claiming that the U.S. is not seeking a cold or hot war with Russia.
--U.S. military officials have proposed sending more troops to Europe to deter the threat of aggression by Russia. 
--President Obama makes history as the first sitting president that has been photographed for the cover of an LGBT magazine.
--Cleveland VA medical center is opening the nation's first clinic for transgender veterans.
--The White House endorses legislation that would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to ban discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity.
--The Dallas city council voted to approve an ordinance allowing transgenders to use facilities of the opposite sex. 
--The coalition of pastors from Houston who defeated the lesbian mayor's transgender rights ordinance is now volunteering to help pastors in Dallas to oppose a similar measure.
--A circuit court judge in Oregon is beginning 2 weeks of hearings before a state panel as he pushed back against allegations that he is unfit to serve on the bench because he won't officiate at so-called same-sex weddings.
--Dictionary.com has included 150 new words and one of them is 'MX.'  That is a prefix for those who don't want to identify as a boy or girl.  
--Nebraska officials are scrambling to change birth certificates for children adopted by gay couples but LGBT activists and the ACLU say they need to do it faster.
--In a walk-up to the G-20 meeting, the International Diabetes Federation has petitioned world leaders to impose a global tax on sugar to counter obesity, improve health and save lives.
--A number of home-school parents in Florida have been ordered by a school district to register their children in classes within 3 days or face criminal prosecution under state law.
--The Department of Education is spending upwards of 2.5 million dollars to bring a mindfulness intervention to Kindergartners in Chicago where kids can go to 'calm spots' to watch nature videos.
--An 8 year old girl was caught trying to smoke marijuana at her elementary school in central Ohio.
--Westminster, Colorado school district investigating a teacher who allegedly said she wanted to cleanse her classroom of evil spirits.
--Schools in Maryland are closing for a Muslim holiday.
--Due to a single complaint, a school system in Tennessee has put in place a new ban on the distribution of all religious materials including the Christian Bible. 
--A high school cross-country runner is disqualified for having a Christian symbol on his headband, even though he wore it inside-out.
--For the second time in the past few months a known terrorist has been caught trying to enter Italy posing as an asylum seeker.
--Clashes erupt between police and migrants of a makeshift camp near a French port.
--Germany selling out of pepper spray as citizens get ready for the influx of migrants.
--Migrants disrupting worship service and then begin rioting in Germany.
--The German interior minister has announced his intention to drop educational standards to help migrants get into school or to find a training place. 
--The influx of asylum seekers is putting an undue strain on Germany's medical system.
--Australian police use tear gas to put down a 2 day riot at a migrant detention center.
--A city in Michigan becomes the first to elect a Muslim majority city council.    
--Michigan, Massachusetts and Minnesota are 3 states that appear to be putting up the least resistance to Islamization.
--The U.S. attorney in Minnesota said to have joined forces with the Muslim Brotherhood to silence the truth and suppress the God-given rights of American citizens.
--There's an estimated 27 victims of so-called honor killings each year in the U.S.
--A third Carolina county bars the door to any third-world refugees being settled in their community. 
--The California college student who stabbed 4 people last week was carrying an image of the black flag of ISIS as well as a hand written manifesto with instructions to behead a student and multiple reminders to pray to Allah.
--Local sheriffs across the nation are voicing concern for the safety of the citizens after the largest one-day release of federal inmates in U.S. history.
