Jim opened the floodgates and presented many stories of interest to Crosstalk listeners. Stories included:

–First Liberty Institute has uncovered 1,285 incidents this year of hostility
based upon religious beliefs.
–Hundreds cheered as a California school board voted recently concerning which
law firm they would hire to represent them in a appeal against an atheist
lawsuit that resulted in a court order that the board should stop praying before
meetings and speaking about Christianity in their remarks.
–Kentucky schools are creating a Bible social studies course.
–Pamela Geller has been repeatedly warned and blocked on Facebook for reporting
about violent and stealthy jihad activities.
–Over objections from 2 of the conservative U.S. Supreme Court justices the rest
of the bench has decided to let government continue to censor speech in some
parts of the nation, effectively determining by official fiat what speech
millions of Americans will or won’t encounter during their commutes.
–2 wealthy Texas Muslims have been found guilty of engaging in forced labor of 2
servants (slaves). The Muslims tried to claim that this was part of their
religion since Mohammed kept slaves of his own therefore any punishment they’d
receive would amount to Islamophobia. Ultimately, the judge banned them from
the U.S. and ordered them to pay each of their victims $60,000 in compensation.
–Somali Islamists who worked at a Cargil beef processing plant in Colorado
recently filed discrimination complaints with the EEOC after being fired last
December. They allegedly refused to come to work for 3 consecutive days because
Cargil allegedly would not let them take 5 prayer breaks per day.
–The U.S. Department of Justice opens a civil rights investigation into decisions
by Bernards Township (New Jersey) authorities to deny a Muslim Community’s
application to build a mosque in the township.
–Secretary of State John Kerry and the House of Representatives are now admitting
that ISIS/ISIL is committing genocide against Christians in the Middle East.
–Video emerges showing Islamic state militants burning Christian textbooks in an
attempt to erase all traces of religions other than Islam from the ancient city
of Mosul, Iraq.
–In Nigeria, Muslims murdered 500 Christians over the past month.
–More than 4 months after a black-clad loner, with an Islamist-themed manifesto
and a printed ISIS flag in his backpack stabbed 4 people on a California college
campus, the FBI has wrapped up its investigation yesterday by saying, ‘It may
never be possible to definitively determine what motivated the bloody rampage’.
–After the president’s nomination of liberal Appeals Court Judge Merrick Garland
to take Antonin Scalia’s place on the Supreme Court, the CEO of Planned
Parenthood was seen entering the White House and Obama wanted to lavish her with
praise.
–Planned Parenthood files a lawsuit against Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin claiming
that his requirement that one of its offices wait until it has the license to
begin performing abortions is absurd and authoritarian.
–A Texas abortion facility owner says that she believes Jesus would hold the
hands of women as they’re obtaining an abortion.
–A bill that would have classified abortion as first degree murder will not move
forward in Oklahoma.
–A bill to prohibit abortion activists from teaching sex-ed to public school
children passed an Alaskan senate committee on Tuesday.
–Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders expressed his support for
allowing abortion without restriction until birth.
–California’s end of life option will go into effect June 9th.
–Minnesota defeated doctor assisted suicide this week.
–Georgia’s state legislature approved a religious freedom bill on Wednesday.
–The Ohio Supreme Court implemented a controversial decision to stop using
gender specific terms such as husband, wife, father and mother on all forms
instead opting to use gender neutral terms.
–The mayor of Seattle decreed an executive order opening all public bathrooms to
self-described and self-diagnosed transgender men and women.
–A lesbian claimed to have been punched in the face by a stranger who also spewed
slurs about her appearance and sexuality. After an investigation she admitted
that she fabricated the attack and even injured herself by giving herself a
black eye. She made the story up because she wanted to raise awareness about
the social hardships of people in the LGBTQ community.
–A magistrate in the UK was removed from office after expressing his deeply held
opinion in an adoption case that children do best in the custody of a mom and a
dad.
–Mike Honda of California has now introduced the Reuniting Families Act with
added language that would allow homosexuals in the U.S. to petition to bring
their spouse here from nations that do not allow same-sex marriage.
–China and Russia are said to be preparing to attack and disrupt critical U.S.
military and intelligence satellites in a future conflict with crippling space
missile maneuvering satellites and laser attacks.
–Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide said a 13 billion dollar cash offer from a
Chinese insurance group was superior to one from Marriot International setting
the stage for the largest ever deal by a Chinese company in the United States.
–President Obama to be naming the first woman to head a U.S. combatant command
selecting Air Force General Lori Robinson as the next head of the Northern
Command.
–Some of the same radical groups involved in shutting down Donald Trump’s Chicago
rally last week are planning a mass civil disobedience movement to begin next
month. They intend to march across the East Coast to transform the political
climate. They are expecting the arrest of thousands of their activists and
claim this is being done to save the democracy.
