In public schools across America tomorrow, there will be a demonstration to advance an activist LGBT agenda. It’s called, ‘Day of Silence’.
Joining Jim to discuss this event was Peter LaBarbera. Peter is the founder and president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality.
According to Peter, the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) is the largest homosexual activist group. They also promote transsexuality and transgenderism promoting all of this in K-12 schools as well as colleges. This organization is basically attempting to inculcate children with the idea that they are essentially gay, bisexual or transgender.
Since 1996, GLSEN has been promoting their ‘Day of Silence’, an event that plays on the false sense of victimization that fuels the entire gay movement as well as the idea that homosexuality is a civil right.
Here’s how it works: There’s a card on the GLSEN ‘Day of Silence’ website. The card communicates the individual’s participation in the ‘Day of Silence’ bringing attention to the silence allegedly faced by gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. This silence is said to be caused by anti-LGBT bullying, name-calling and harassment.
Jim correctly noted that the LGBT voice is not the one being silenced. Instead the LGBT voice is being advanced and promoted through things like school policies so actually it’s Christians who are being silenced.
If this is happening at your child’s school, listen to this broadcast and utilize the resources listed below to learn how you and your children can properly and respectfully protest this event.
