--Within a 48 hour period this week, a federal court ruled that a school could not
require children to use the bathroom that corresponds to their biological sex.
--Target stores announced that they're making all their bathrooms gender neutral.
--A school council in England has sent out a letter to parents telling them to
encourage their 4 year old children to choose the gender they most identify with
before starting school.
--Retired baseball pitcher Curt Schilling has been fired from his analyst post at
ESPN for sharing an anti-transgender post.
--The Milwaukee Bucks basketball team throw their support behind the Wisconsin
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Chamber of Commerce which has the goal of
creating a more diverse business community in Wisconsin.
--NBA Commissioner Adam Silver believes the league has been crystal clear that the
2017 All-Star Game only stays in Charlotte if the North Carolina law that limits
anti-discrimination protections for LGBT individuals goes.
--A 19 year old Pennsylvania man who was arrested for taking photos of a 10 year
old girl in a public restroom has also been hit with child porn charges.
--A biological man who claimed to be transgender in order to prey on women at two
Toronto shelters was recently jailed indefinitely after a judge declared him to
be a dangerous offender.
--Government officials in Washington, D.C., have sent out an alert to residents
via a website that's requesting the names/locations of any public bathroom in
the city that's not available to both genders.
--The U.S. interior secretary claims that our national parks have ignored
important parts of our nation's story and that includes the struggle for LGBT
rights.
--A gay bar (The Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village) could become the first
monument or national park dedicated to the LGBT movement.
--Donald Trump says that transgenders should be allowed to use the bathroom that
they feel is appropriate.
--The nation's first transgender Baptist preacher spoke to a national Baptist
gathering on April 8th explaining that the doctor who delivered him as a baby
was wrong in declaring him a boy and that it was an angel of reason that caused
him to accept his inclinations to identify as a woman.
--The British government has issued a warning to LGBT travelers coming to the U.S.
that they may be affected by bathroom privacy laws in conservative states.
--A person deemed Trans-species is otherwise known as 'other kin'. These
individuals are considered to have been born into the wrong body; not just with
the wrong parts but the wrong species. These individuals believe they are
wolves, elves, an alien, a fictional character or any kind of being born into a
human body.
--Pornography deemed a public health crisis in Utah.
--Republicans on a House Panel Investigation Committee presented evidence in a
hearing that breaks down the price per fetal body part.
--The Executive Vice President of Planned Parenthood says a new Mississippi law
banning dismemberment abortion is an attack on women's health care.
--Iowa will become the next state to defund Planned Parenthood if state
legislators have their way.
--The Obama administration warns that states that halt Medicaid funding to
organizations providing abortion services could be in violation of federal law.
--Planned Parenthood Chief Cecile Richards was greeted with a standing ovation
at Catholic Georgetown University on Wednesday where she had been invited to
speak about reproductive rights.
--In an interview discussing reproductive healthcare and the 2016 election,
Planned Parenthood's Cecile Richards commended the media and Hollywood for
covering abortion stories of women, men and families as well as addressing
abortion in more realistic terms.
--A 20 year old university student has been charged with the murder of her unborn
son.
--A repulsive pro-abortion display had cookies shaped like babies with their heads
broken off.
--A students-for-life group at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas,
set up about 3,000 crosses as part of a display that attempted to memorialize
those babies that would die that very day and week. In the middle of the night
all of the crosses were vandalized.
--Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to comment on gun control.
--Trey Gowdy, Chairman of the House Immigration and Border Security Subcommittee,
is not pleased with what's taking place on America's southern border.
--A U.S. border patrol agent was assaulted in Arizona while attempting to
apprehend a group of marijuana smugglers.
--The Tennessee General Assembly declared it will sue the federal government over
its refugee settlement program on 10th Amendment grounds.
--South Dakota could eventually have another direct resettlement site for
refugees.
--The Department of Health and Human Services has provided a $270,000 grant to
Islamic Relief Worldwide, a charity that has repeatedly been linked to terrorism
financing and support for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
