He has authored eight scholarly law review publications and 10 books including, “Faith & Freedom: A Complete Handbook for Defending Your Religious Rights”, “Same-Sex Marriage: Putting Every Household at Risk” and “Eternal Vigilance: Knowing and Protecting Your Religious Freedom”.

It was one year ago, June 26th that the United States Supreme Court issued what was called a landmark decision in a case known as Obergefell vs. Hodges. 5 of the members of the court said that the United States Constitution guarantees the fundamental right to marry to same sex couples by both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. The decision they rendered has thrown our nation into a tailspin.

Mat says the action of the court is an attack on God, because marriage was created by God.

Alfred Kinsey in his sexual studies and writings had the goal to remove all restrictions on sexual activity, and ultimately destroy marriage itself. The logical conclusion would be to also abolish God. It was done on purpose.

But Mat says that a tiny portion of the population, less that 3% with the most generous estimates, are demanding to change the social structure of society. And just five justices ruled that they could do so.

There are those who say “It’s over. The court has ruled. It’s now the law. Get over it.” But Mat says no matter what the court says, marriage cannot be anything else except the natural created order of man and woman, any more than a government can legislate away the law of gravity. It is impossible to “move on”, because a big result in the past year has been increasing attacks on those who stand on the biblical grounds for marriage, who are now seen as obstructing the accomplishment of the goals of the same-sex marriage proponents. Fines, jail time, attacks on judges and others who make decisions, banning of help for those wishing to escape same-sex attractions, and much more have increased, and Mat says this will increase in the future.

Much of this was predicted in Mat Staver’s book,“Same-Sex Marriage: Putting Every Household at Risk”, which was published several years ago. There are serious moves to remove the licenses of counselors who seek to help people seeking help in this area, to remove the law licenses of attorneys arguing against the same-sex agenda, and Mat predicts that moves against churches will accelerate to the point of removing tax-exempt status and arresting pastors who preach the biblical truth about homosexuality.

Other developments have included the administration directing all public schools in the nation to permit homosexuals and transgender individuals to use the rest rooms where they identify. Target stores have opened their rest rooms and changing rooms to homosexual and transgender use, with penalties for those who would try to stop it. Already there are multiple reports of sexual molestation of girls in the women’s rest rooms by male “transgenders” who turned out to be child molesters. But the stores say they now have the right to use the opposite rest rooms, so “get used to it”. And Target is just the first of many stores, other businesses, sports teams and leagues, and other entities are jumping on the bandwagon.

States are now processing legislation to penalize private colleges who “discriminate” against same-sex or transgender people in their rest room/changing room policies by removing them from tuition assistance from the state, also legislation to obliterate objective reality and replace it with subjective reality–whatever you think is so, is so–despite all evidence to the contrary. This turns the rule of law on its head.

The recent shootings of homosexuals in Florida by an admitted Muslim supporter of Isis, as tragic as they were, are now being used to shift the blame to people who oppose same-sex unions. But the history of the shooter shows that for years he has demonstrated his dedication to Islam, to terrorist acts, by his behavior, by his statements, and by his attendance at a mosque that promotes Jihad.

Even the military has not been exempt. All the armed services are moving towards allowing transgender people to serve. The result: a de facto purge of the military as Christians and loyal officers and enlisted personnel who know what the military was like before these changes, are resigning–or are being forced out.

These and many other topics of concern are discussed on this program, including updates on current cases with which Liberty Counsel is involved.
